Young man, Pharaun Gilchrist, came to door explaining he was selling books for children and was in a contest with other young people to win some kind of assistance with college and of course, he just needed one more sale. I was baking cookies and he commented on how good they smelled so I gave him a couple and I agreed to purchase a set that was supposed to include a small CD player, head phones and a beginners set to learning Spanish plus a Spiderman adventure. I gave him a check for $59.00 after he "discounted" the supposed actual cost of I think $250, and I also gave him a dozen cookies to take with him. I HAVE NEVER SEEN NOR HEARD FROM HIM OR THE COMPANY SINCE THEN. They DID cash the check but I DIDN'T get any merchandise.
