I went on-line to check my bank balance. There is a pending charge to AWI for $24.95. I called my bank to alert them of the probable dispute. I was told there was nothing they could do until the charge actually goes through. The bank was able to tell me that this is a phishing scam. The bank gave me their phone number. I called and a woman answered. When I started to explain the situation, she said I had reached the answering service. She took down my name and phone number and said someone would call me back tomorrow. I will be on the phone to them first thing in the morning. Oh yeah, my bank cancelled my card and I have to get a new one.
