I recieved my first call two days ago and I told him I didn't have an account with them and I didn't have to cancel and to cancel anything else so he would not have to call again. I got another call today from a fellow named David Williams who said he was also from the cancellation dept.
I told him I had no account and he was going to give me a reference number. I said great, give it to me. He verified my address and name, which can be obtained anywhere so I didn't see the harm in confirming information in which he already had possession. Did I have any questions? Yes, what is the reference number so we can be done with this. That is when he gave me the total for last years listing: $649.00. Yeah, did not authorize that and got zero referrals which was the total I was going to send them. Then he had to transfer me to another department for the reference number. Would I wait? The gal gets on the phone and by now I'm so aggravated I tell her that if she doesn't give me the reference number I am going to sue her. She says sue me and hangs up.
Then my patient tells me she has also been getting phone calls from them as well and she is not a business but a private residence.
