received free sample 17.december now have had my account debited without athorisation. the amount taken out on 30 december. was £74.95. Iwas informed at time of ordering that this was a free sample and I only had to pay for postage.

I've had a similar experience - Two apparent companies using the names "Perfect Radiance" and "Revitaderm" but in fact the same company - "Revitalize Health and Beauty" had an Internet ad to which I responded asking for samples – instead a month’s supply of each was sent out from Revitalize Health and Beauty PO BOX 13583 Linlithgow West Lothian EH49 9AP. £0.95 and £0.97 were debited from BOI Mastercard on 12/2/11 and £74.95 and £79.99 on 29/12/11. I did NOT sign up for monthly supplies and had I known they would be wanting £155 every month I would have closed their ad immediately!
I tried to contact Revitalize Health and Beauty but was put on hold on both numbers (same answering machine!). I gave up eventually. I e-mailed them a few days ago - no response. I e-mailed again today - so far only automated replies.
I contacted BOI Mastercard who can do nothing and says that even cancelling the card will not prevent further deductions. They advise returning the products and asking for -

- I have posted two previous complaints regarding revitalize health and beauty. Un authorized payments are still being deducted. Do you offer advise or do I just keep complaining?

- By hanging on long enough on the phone I got through to the company and they cancelled any future payments. The person I spoke to even admitted that his employer wasn't playing fair! The moral of the story is - never use your credit card to pay for special trial offers unless you are ABSOLUTELY SURE that any company you are dealing with is on the level! Recurring payments on credit cards can be very hard to stop unless you have the full cooperation of the payee.
