I won a so called auction for a Nokia phone and paid for it with my visa debit card That was at the beginning of December They e-mailed me a receipt and stated they require me to complete an authorisation form for them to debit my visa. I declined to do this as I do not give anyone authorisation on my visa debit card. I noted that the form that I was required to complete required that I photocopy the Visa Card back and front , this set off alarm bells so I declined to complete the form, The auction that I won totalled $8.95 which I had paid for with my Visa debit card . The Nokia phone was never received, however at the time I put this down to lesson learned. Since then they have debited my visa the amount of $119.99 on 24/12/2011 Which after several failed attempts to contact them I was finally able to do so In my chat converation with Juliet I advised her that the charge was unauthorised and I wanted a refund After a short chat she stated they would refund the $8.95 Plus the $119.99 less $54 cancellation fee They would not send the Nokia as it was a promotional deal to lure membership . She agreed that it was and stated she had sent an e-mail re the cancellation and refund details and then basically terminated the chat after I stated that I had disputed the payment of $119.99 with visa and they were looking into it. I wont hold my breath waiting for the rest to be refunded However any other members should be awar that if they have given this company their credit card details either to pay for a scam promotion auction or membership they will continue to debit their credit cards or debit cards so they need to gon into their membership on the Ask Ziinga.com site and request a refund and cancel their card as Zinga will continue to debit money from them at the rate of around $119.99nz each month otherwise. I cancelled my card the same day the pymt came out of my a/c and also lodged a dispute with visa over the anauthorised debit. Hope this will help others .

  • Please let people be aware that as long as Ziinga have their card details they will continue to debit so called membership fees every month unless they cancell the card used to purchase bids or pay for promotional auctions they won
