Why didn't I find this site before I divulged my information??? Same story as everyone else's--a huge lesson is to NEVER, EVER, EVER give your personal information. I knew better, but it all felt legitimate and professional. I am kicking myself. Has anyone had any subsequent situations following this (i.e. social security numbers being used to open additional credit accounts, etc.)? Obviously it's easy enough to cancel a credit card but I worry more about the social security implications.
