Borrowed $300 just before Christmas and was told that I could pay it back early (today) and have a reduced interest rate of $75 (yes, ridiculous to begin with, but I was desperate). I called today to pay the loan in full as per the agreement, but the told me I would have to pay $405, because I was supposed to have called them 2-3 days before the due date to remit payment. What is a due date, after all?
I just told them to take it out (to avoid unnecessary legal garbage), but that I would be reporting them to the BBB (BBB has no such company). This is a FRAUDULENT business, if it can even be called a business. My first and last time using a payday loan service. Lesson definitely learned!
