Oh where to begin. So I ordered a Andre Johnson youth XL jersey as a late christmas present for my son. When I placed the order the website came up with an error 808. So before placing a second order I emailed fannflshop.com and received a quick response from "Elaine". She said the charge to my debit card had failed and the order did not go through. At that point I placed a second order and it went through correctly. Unfortunately, 2 days later both charges showed up in my checking account (I did check at the time of the first order but my bank had not shown the charge yet). I emailed her again and she responded quickly saying she would notify the billing dept and have the first charge reversed. I received my jersey the following friday (1/6/2012). It was so small that it barely fit my 6 yr old (the gift was for my 13 yr old). I promptly emailed "Elaine" and said I wanted to return the jersey for a refund. She explained to me she can't give me a full refund. She said they would only give me a refund of $76 (the jersey was $120). I then emailed her back saying that was unacceptable and it clearly states in their privacy policy on their website that
"365-Day Hassle Free Returns
Our top priority is to provide the best service possible and if you don't love what you ordered, we don't want you to keep it. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item(s) in original condition for a full refund or exchange."

She has not returned my email since then. I have been emailing her everyday for the past two days with no response. I guess I'm out $251.12 for an infants jersey that looks like a child made it.

  • So an update on my order. After much jousting back and forth through email with Elaine she finally offered that I receive the full refund on the first order and an $80 on the second AND I keep the jersey and do not send it back because of the fees involved. I agreed since this was the best offer she had given. I just received the $80 refund and international transaction fee today and am still waiting on the full refund. All in all, like many other people feel on here this company has a terrible platform for selling jerseys and pretty poor customer service BUT they are not a scam and they do work with you. It just takes a lot of time and patience.

  • After I receive the $120 refund for the first botched order I will have back about $205. Meaning i spent $45 for a jersey I will never use and probably sell on craigslist or ebay. Terrible customer service yes but scam no.

  • Well I got the money back. $205, just like Elaine said. It was a nightmare and their customer service is extremely slow but they are an actual business.
