im writing to inform concerns about rent a center furniture,im a past rent a center customer and purchased a leather loveseat and sofa from your store in the state of nyc/bronx and it's been since nov.2009 that i have had the furniture i read the terms agreement and conditions but i actually found out the terms & agreement seem to be false due to the fact of the furniture i was making payments on turned out to be 'non-leather/vinyl'. i realized this and stop making my payments and spoke about it to the store manager.they refused to give any questions nor help.i paid several months through the agreement and stop when i reached the certain limit of payment just to be told i have to pay full retail price after 3 months?and these couches were re-furbished.. understandable but why should i pay for something that was not told to me...such as fake leather,i would like to know what can i do because since march 2010 the entire leather started peeling to the point my couches as we speak(have pics) looks chaotic!. i feel this is a somewhat lawsuit for false advertisment.im sure your company works well but in bronx,ny your employees are soo not professional by sending letter threats about payments and non warranty maintenance when asked. if possible i would like to speak or receive a callback so i can explain to one of your employee managers.
