On 12/9/11 I ordered a trial package of facial products from Nue Science, based on information from an ad in the Parade Magazine. It offered the product for the cost of shipping, which was $2.95. I received email confirmation and shipping confirmation. When the product arrived, there was no packing slip or further information regarding any further obligations, charges or conditions. I was not planning to try the product right away, so kept it in the box. A few days ago, I received my credit card bill, only to find that there was both a shipping charge AND the cost of the product! When I contacted Nue Science, I spoke to two different people. Both implied that I had either not read the information (which was incorrect) or had misconstrued the information. Both made a point to let me know that these were full sized products (even though one could easily assume "trial" size) and that the 14 day trial meant that I would be charged the $98.16 after that time (although that was not made clear in the ad). Evidently, the clock began ticking when I placed the order, as the reps informed me that I was not only past the 14 days but also past the 30 day return period. I was eventually offered reduction of one-half of the cost of the product. I will be watching to see they take it off my credit card next month.
