I was trying to get help with an advance for rent, overdraft charges until my next paycheck. A guy named "steven" called me and stated that he could help if I sent $261.00 by western union. In my weakest and most desperate need of time. Fearing eviction for myself, boyfriend and our 5 year old and no food for 2 weeks. I sent the money only for them to tell me that since my middle name was not on the sheet (which only had a spot for middle initial) I had to resend the money. Thankfully, I had other plans and could not do it. He told me to contact him Saturday and he would figure it out then. By Saturday, the phone number was not active. ONly leaving me to leave a message. Upon looking at his "supposed website" Cash Advance, I read that they do not do western union. He called me this morning 1-16-2012 while I was at work and told him Id call him later. I wanted to confront him about everything. When i got out of work after 6pm I called and got hung up multiple times. Only for him to call me back after 7pm. When I was talking to him, he became very defensive and told me that he was going to press legal charges to me and that I would have to pay $700. He then called me vulgar names.
