This website put up ads in legitimate sites and lure you to believe it is part of that site! When I took the challenge with the quiz game...it asked for the phone number... I was dumb to believe that it was part of the same site PCH.COM so I filled out the cell phone #. It didn't say anything about contract nor commitment to purchase anything...no warning of any kind! After 10 quiz and gave them phone number then they started to text me on my phone and wouldn't stop! I have copy of my text from iPhone to attach as a proof! The text goes "Reply 'quizzed' 4 fun facts sent 2 UR cell. Reply HELP 4help 18558557115 $9.99/mo Subscription.Reply STOP to cancel" I text back "Stop" many times but this message keep coming back again and again....
There's no place to cancel the subscription that I had not subscribed!!! I finally had to play that quiz game again to find the source of the website and after atleast 30 mins of trying to figure out...I traced back to this website that originate the ads! So I read the terms and conditions about unsubscribe this tricky thing by texting back to them with this code 41933 and I follow with another text said "STOP" Finally they text me with this message: "MLBSMS Alerts. You are not subscribed to any services and will no longer receive any msgs or charges. For more info call 18558557115."
This is vicious...scam! Luckily I know something about computer! If someone else is a victim...he/she will be permanently paying this company forever! It is a growing scam and need to be stop ASAP! I'm sure there are a lot more victims out there because they put up ads on PCH.COM and or PCHlotto.com
