ziinga.com offer an auction site where you can bid for items such as iphones, tvs etc. You bid against the clock but even if your price is the winning as soon as the clock reaches the end of the auction period it immediately resets and you lose all your bid money. This cycle went on and on until all my bid money was gone.

I joined the site as a Premium member which tied me in for three months. On Dec 11 2011 I asked for my account to be deleted. ziinga.com sent an automated email saying they would email me within 48 hours. However they failed to do so and on Jan 20 2012 ziinga.com took another £59.99 from my bank account.

On Jan 23 I contacted ziinga.com's customer support and somebody called "Alfred" informed me I could pay a £28 cancellation fee but "Alfred" cut off the conversation before it was completed. The text of the LiveChat reads as follows:

"Alfred: Please note that the platinum membership is binding for 3 months, it will stay active until 2012-03-17.
Alfred: By which charges will still apply.
Alfred: Rest assured that you will no longer incur monthly membership charges once the cancellation fee is paid.?
me: ok but why didn't Ziinga.com email me back as stated in their email to me as follows: Your request (#94373) has been received, and is being reviewed by our support staff. "Our Customer Support Specialists will get in touch with you through email within 48 hours."
This did not happen and I have been charged another £59.99 in January.
Alfred: You received an automated reply informing you about the time frame for an email response.
Alfred: Is there anything else I can help you with?
... a few seconds later... leaving no time to respond:
Alfred: Thank you for choosing Ziinga. If you have any other questions, feel free to open a chat or e-mail us at [email protected]!"

It is clear from all of this that ziinga.com is obstructing my request to delete my account and that more payments will be deducted from my account until the end of three months unless I can get my account deleted in accordance with their Terms and Conditions.
