I applied for a Deed in Lieu of Foreclosure, or "DIL". Beginning July 22, 2011, OCWEN told me that they had all of the documents that they needed, yet they kept coming up with more, which I kept sending in. They kept scheduling appointments with me "for an update on the status of the DIL". Meanwhile, the insurance company cancelled because the house isn't occupied, the housing division still expects me to pay the HOA's, and now OCWEN has turned the account over to a foreclosure attorney anyway, along with an additional six months of late fees, interest, and now lawyer fees. In October 2011, I actually signed the Grant Deed-in-Lieu, had it notorized and sent it back. I was supposed to get $3,000 through their cash for keys program. Instead, I keep having to pay more money, and it doesn't seem to stop.
