on october 10th i had my television taken to a repair shop because a part called a light engine was failing. the tech explained that the part was on back order from toshiba, since then i have made numerous calls to toshiba and they were no help even called the parts distributors and they say that they also were waiting for the parts from toshiba. I even filed a formal complaint with the consumer complaint agency case #678641230 and that still do not get toshiba to act. so far my tv has been in the shop since october 10,2011. if you have any information greatly appreciated.

the dollar amount was a mistake, the true amount is $1,000 dollars.
