Just like many others I am reading about I responded to a ad on craigslist for a 2006 honda civic. The ad stated that she was selling the 06 honda for $2790.00. What a Great Deal right? Not! I received several emails with lots of info on the car, including a fake carfax. This scammer said she was being sent back to Afghanistan and the car needed to be sold by february 13th because she didn't want it to sit in the back yard and get old. I tried several ways to complete the transaction with a credit card and I was told I must complete transaction with cash at a authorized western union agent. I just couldn't understand why ebay wouldn't accept a credit card so I decided to google ebay safe pay and thank God I did! I found out about the scam before I sent any money.

- Thank you so much for this bc I was just dealing with the same girl only difference was it was an 04 maxima and she said she posted it in other states to get it sold faster! Needless to say after reading this I told her off!!!

- Thank god for this website and the ppl that post on it I received a email about this car and the whole spiel omg I went to the western union ready to send the money n some guy over herd my story n said it sounded fishy told me to scam book it lol wow was I glad I did these ppl need to b stopped I have a 11 mth old son so moneys tight I would have been strapped for cash after that thank you all
