Report Iphone Scam:
I want report the Iphone Scam that involve elaborate schemes to steal people money. Their goals are to clean out your saving bank account and to also do identity theft. They operates in Malaysia, Nigeria (Africa), and United Kingdom.
They are exploiting the hypes about the Apple Iphone products, especially the recent release of the Iphone 4S or the Ipad 2, and they are claiming to sale them for 25%-60% of the original retail prices at the Apple Store. These people are professional con man and they set up an elaborate scheme to steal every penny that you have, if you let them pull you into the trap of greed. Please keep in mind that this is 100% a true story, and it is described exactly as it happened to me. I have loss almost $4000, which is nearly all my money in my saving account, and wasted many hours of interaction with these scam artists. Once again these are scam artists and they have the anti-social personality disorder, that mean they show no remorse as they reassure you that they are genuine and you will get your money back, and but they are really as heartless as a serpent just before it bites its victim, that is their goal is take all your money, and then try to do identify theft at the same time.

I came across Mr.Yusuf Salam, at many public websites, probably in the hundreds, who is claiming to be selling wholesale Apple Products on Jan 03, 2012. The website, http://www.d4dubai.com, that I ran across was having many advertisements with really seem to be really good prices. Immediately, the great price offered by Yusuf Salam (not sure if that is his real name), at the store contact is [email protected]. The price was $350 per Iphone 4S 64GB factory unlocked. So I contacted Yusuf Salam to check if the sale was valid and they are not fraud. He immediately contacted me, with a very polite and warm welcome, “Thanks for your kindly message.” And the offer was genuine at that price, but his was wholesale only for “3 units + 1 Free=$1,050USD and shipping via FedEx Shipping Company and it takes 2-Days for delivery , while we accept payment by Western union money transfer or Money Gram international transfer.”
I spent hours checking on the internet to see if anyone reported that Yusuf Salam, or his website aliamdulliah.storesltd had deceived them. And I was not able to find a single report of the scam by this person. And then I prayed about it to make sure I was not scammed. And also I only have so little amount of money in my saving account. But I was did not know that these scam artists used different names and email accounts to deceive. And after several correspondences, I was deceived into believing that this person have an actual wholesale Apple Iphone business.
On Jan 04, 2012 I sent Yusuf Salam $1050 + processing fee = about $1100 through the Western Union. Please keep in mind that ALL transactions made for purchases through Western Union or Money Gram are scams, with NO EXCEPTION. I sent it to:
Daniel James, No.85 Jalan Ampang, Kaula Lumpur, Malaysia.
I only found this out in retrospect after being deceived. I also noticed it is strange that Yusuf Salam was using the tactic of calling me repeatedly, and emailed me very frequently, to make sure that the transactions will get complete quickly.
His phone number is Nigerian: 234 703 345 4382.
It is part of the scam tactics, to cause the victim little time to think and little time to talk with family members, and while reeling them into the false promise and assurance that it will get be successful. I also noticed his accent is Nigerian, and difficult to understand, and his English and grammar is poor. But he kept emphasizing the assurance of success of the transaction.
Once he received the money, he said the shipment will be sent right away for the 4 units of Iphone. Then that very night, he informed that unfortunately, due to unforseened incident, there is a sudden tax increase to import, and that he is losing profit by sending out at such low fee, and that more purchase is necessary, and the minimum of 15 units of Iphones are required in order that both parties would benefit. And the money cannot be refunded because it was put into the package already.
My reaction was that it was scammed. I contacted the owner of the website who contacted him, but Yusuf Salam said I didn’t pay the custom. He lied about the custom part. I reported to the police, but they refused to make the file report. I reported to Western Union, but they said they are not responsible because the transaction is only for family members and friends. I send many correspondences to Yusuf Salam, but his responses were that he is a trustworthy Muslim with honest business, and has family with children, and he never cheated anyone, and that he fear God. Once again, these con-people are professionals, they have no conscience because they have the anti-social personality disorder, and they are enjoying the thrills of deceiving their victims. And every step they are taking are scripts already written by other Scam Artists and they follow the exact blueprint, so it always seem so smooth and believing. And the reason that “no one has reported them” because they have many names and many email accounts set up.
Losing $1100 was painful, and I thought what if this is a real business person. So I went back and checked, and Yusuf Salam followed the exact steps in each correspondence. So I asked him for his ID card and passport and invoice. And said that he has to check with his boss, and his boss is George. So I received the copy of the passport and driver license of George Aretas Wortley, UK, email address: [email protected], and he is a current seller of Apple Iphone. And the invoice was clearly written:
Aliamdulliah Stores Limited, suppliers and Exporters of Mobile Phones, Laptops. Plasma…Electronic products; address: Jalan Changkat Semantan Damansara Heights, Kuala Lumpur, 50490, Malyasia. Quantity 15 units of Iphone, paid $1050, balance for $2400 (advance payment of $1200, and balance of $1200).
On Jan 17, 2012, I sent $1200 + process fee by Western Union to:
Bolaji Olaomo, 310 Brick Collins Way, Lagos, Nigeria, 23401.
And after receiving the money, Yusuf Salam made the assurance that transaction was complete and that the package was sent that night. I also noticed he was impatient and using the pressuring tactics that time as well into rushing me to send the order right away, because the shipping and everything was already done and just awaiting the shipping. That is part the scam artists style, to give the victims less time to think and react.
And then that very day, he said, I need to pay an additional $1500 for the insurance fee, that very day and that unless the amount is paid, it will be held at custom. And so I was given the tracking number and the private delivering service:
Acclaim Express Delivery Services:
Tracking number : 773B6CF6__
www.accadservices.com

I checked the Delivery Services online, and there was the site, and my tracking number was there, package leaving from Malaysia to be arrived to USA by two days, Jan 19, 2011. So I made correspondences to the “Acclaim Express Delivery Services”, and their response was that I need to pay $1500 for custom and insurance purpose (kind of like Hertz or Budget when you rent a car) and it will be refunded the same day that the package is received. So I asked them to check the items of the package. They said, the package has exactly 15 units of Iphones, and was reconfirmed by them as genuine. And that they are real Delivery Services.

So on Jan 18, 2012, I sent $1500 + processing fee to:
Bolaji Olaomo, 310 Brick Collins Way, Lagos, Nigeria, 23401.

I did this, remember that I checked many times online to see a fraud reported for Yusuf Salam, George Worthley, or Acclaim Express Delivery Services, and there was none reported. But remember that these scam artists are professionals, and they are very calculated, and have setup differents accounts, differents websites, and different delivery services to deceive more money. And worse of all, they have no conscience, and if they know that they can clean out your bank accounts they will do it in a heartbeat without hesitation. They are international criminals and professionals.

Then, on Jan 20 2012, Yusuf Salam said that there is another unforseened incident, the quantity of 15 units was misplaced, and that instead a package of 35 units of Iphones was sent instead. That I need to sent MORE MONEY. This time is the last straw, I realized I have been deceived the whole time. I went back to the “Acclaim Express Delivery Services” at www.accadservices.com and I noticed it was a fake delivery service. There was no trademark labels of the company on all the boxes, and that Yusuf Salam had set up the fake delivery services by himself. There was not a single reference to that company on the website, beside that one website address. Meanwhile, the scam artist Yusuf Salam, was still using the same pressuring tactics calling 12 times that day, and many emails, and then he used the fake “Acclaim Express Delivery Services” to contact me to send more money. Then he even tried to CON (deceive) me further by saying that he will give the refunds if he was given my: Routing number: Account number: Bank name: Bank address: SSN (Social Security Number): Username: Password:

Yusuf Salam’s intention is to use the following information to take all the money in the bank account, and then use that person identity to set up more accounts. He is purely a genuine SCAM ARTIST, and will go by different identities. Keep in mind:

ALL Westion Union and Money Grams are SCAM
ALL great deals on Apple Iphones are SCAM
Only buy from a trusted Apple Store, and it will save you many heartache and trouble.
As for me, I am still very frustrated by what happened. I prayed, and searched internet, but I was deceived to lose so much of my money. I am sure these scam artists will try new ways to deceive more, and especially other unsuspecting victims. I hope this be a lesson for all. I hope they are caught, be jailed, and the money be returned to their victims. And my lesson is very very painful, and I am even in greater debt than before. Please don’t be Scammed like I was, and learn from experience and mistake. My total loss is $3,860 and many hours wasted and of pain and torture because of crooks and Scam Artists like Yusuf Salam.
