On January 11, 2012 Wednesday we entered the Brava Hair Salon to receive what they advertise.

We were not greeted . We were sent to sit down in chairs that were not there. We were greeted with glares. We requested a hair style book to give an example of how we wanted the hair cuts. We were told that they did not have such a book. The hair cuts were not finished. On combing the hair out later we found 2inches hanging over the ear section that was supposed to be cut.
I call the next day and the reception said on the phone one thing...we want you to be happy with the brava experience and said to come back. We arranged an appointment with her ... on arrival we were not greeted again and were scared with an abrupt body jolt and hair dressers face in my face. She said that to cut the (unfinished) hair we would have to pay full price again. I guess she was the one that was to be happy as we left the salon and sevices rendered. ..not the customers. The opposite that was said on the phone and advertisement on internet. Apparently respectionist was new and ill informed (didnt know brava salon policy). We expressed dissapointment and left unhappy unsatisfied paying customers.
The next day was booked for the second appointment for the second hair cut obviously we were to cancel and to make sure we phone respectfully to make sure his appoint was cancelled. Again the receptionist said we would like you to be happy with our services and said to come back. We said clearly ...we would not pay full price again for the stylist to finish/fix hair cut. She again explained we would not and to come in at arranged time. We did again and again on arrival we were told that we would have to pay full price of a hair cut if they were to fix the hair cut. I said ... I told you over the phone earlier that morning that we were to cancel because we wanted to have a hair cut finish/fixed. Again she said that she said I did not know that the Stylist Pat and Jennifer were happy with their job on the boys and that that means we would have to pay full price and I explained this is what happened yesterday and on the phone was reassured it would not happen again. But it did ...2 haircuts unfinished 2 times they promised on phone they wanted us to be happy customers 2 times they were absolutely rude and unprofessional to say the least . They did not know their buisness policy and know how to make a customer happy and how to give a finished hair cut/style. Their professionalism leaves much to be desired. The manager will not respond to me or to B B B although they said they gave my phone number to receptionist 2X...so...I email the employment application section on the ad for Brava in Burnaby BC in the BRENTWOOD MALL. I have not received a call from the manager as the receptionist said 3X she would pass my phone no. to him.
I used to believe you get want you pay for ... not true anymore.
