Was called by Trevor Snyder about buying my timeshare. I have been trying to sell it for several years, so I thought it was a chance.
We talked about price. He said he had $8000 in his budget. I told him I had $16,000 in it but would settle for half. He said he would need to talk it over with his wife, and would get back with me.

A week went by and I never heard from him, so I figured it wasn't a go. Then, on Jan 22nd, I got a call from Roger Compton, telling me he was with Monarch Funding, and that he represented Trevor Snyder, and that things looked good for the loan, and things could wrap up in a week or so. I was excited. He said he would start the paper work and get back with me. We talked several times in the next couple days. Then I got a call from Mr. Snyder, saying he was a little short as far as closing costs, and wandered if I would pay half the points. ($570). I said that would be fine. He told me he would put the cost at $8600, so I would still get the full $8000. So I said deal.

Roger then faxed me a contract signed by the Snyders, and wanted me to sign it and fax it back, which I did. That nite, Roger called me, and said the money needed to be sent, before it could move to the title company. I questioned it, but he assured me it was fine. I had researched Monarch Funding, and it seemed reputable, so I did. He told me it was in the hands of Chicago Title Co. Thar was the last time I talked to either of them. Have tried a dozen times to reach them, and nothing.
