Received email to say I had won 2GB i pod shuffle and just needed to pay £2.00GBP for delivery and would receive 7 free days platinum membership which I took to mean that I could cancel within 7 days and not join up to anything Didn't know what the site was. After submitting card details for £2.00 and then visiting the site, realising it was all bidding I immediately emailed them to say I didn't want to be part of a bidding site and to not charge anything to my card after the 7 free days. They emailed back and informed me I had subscribed to platinum membership with a binding 3 month contract at £59.99 per month and to cancel there would be a charge of £28.00. I emailed back and informed them that I was on sick from work and cannot afford this and that if money goes from my account I will report them and apply to visa for refund as it is something I have not received, nor wanted and they were informed of this within a couple of hours. They emailed me a link so I could cancel but then I will be charged the £28.00 so I have not clicked on it and am trying to now transfer money from my account to prevent them taking anything, but I also have to make sure I have money in for regular payments to be taken.

  • I am in exactly the same predicament as you are with this company but they took 2 months in two transactions 5 mins apart $119 x 2), they are arguing their break of contract fee ($54) although i did not authorise the payments in the first place and contacted them the day after winning a phone to cancel when i was told of the platnium charges. The phone number although shows as a NZ number does not ever get answered and the answerphone is not professional (just automated), I don't think it is in NZ although a NZ number comes up on the mastercard staement. I also have not accepted what they are offering as I want all my money back. I have had to cancel my mastercard and get a new one for peace of muind that they are not helping themselves to more without my knowledge. A quote springs to mind....'if its too good to be true, it probably isn't'. Amanda

I tried to bid on other items and soon realised that it was a scam so I decided that I would not use your auction again untill the phone arrived. This was in November 2011. I paid for some thing and it was never delivered. I know enough to know that you people need to go to prison because you are stealing peoples money.

And seeing that your company is well known over the internet for being scammers why would I want to give you access to steal my identity there must be a lot of fools out there who have fallen for that but I will not.
