I was supposed to be purchasing a vehicle from John Rawson and was advised to follow directions on the ebay motors invoice, because the deal was set up through that site. He informed me he was in the military and shipping out for another year and that he could ship the vehicle cheap since he was military. i followed the instructions and sent the money to who was supposed to be an ebay account manager ( Sloan) who would then notify John to have the vehicle shipped. John advised he would be shipping the vehicle with DAS (dependable auto shippers) on Monday Feb 6 2012. I contacted DAS to find out where the vehicle was because John had not given me a tracking number. They then informed me that they had received several calls lately and it was a scam also that i needed to contact ebay. So i did. The ebay rep informed me that recently scammers had started using their buyer protection program as a part of their scam.
