I ordered flowers via ProFlowers to be sent to a Los Angeles address. It was a sympathy bouquet I chose from their various photos, specified the bouquet order number; when the bouquet was received I heard it was nothing like I had ordered, to the contrary the flowers were totally wrong. I contacted ProFlowers, they were apologetic and promised to make good on the order and resend it on 2/10/12 specifying exactly the bouquet number to a florist in the Los Angeles area, assuring me it would be the bouquet I had chosen.
The flowers were not sent, and when I contacted ProFlowers to check up on the delivery (it was after 8 PM) I was told they could do nothing about it. All florists were closed. I asked them to send me an email once the new bouquet had been delivered on 2/11/12.
After this disaster experience I checked the internet and found hundreds of people who had been deceived, lied to etc.
How can we get the news out over the television stations that consumers should not be dealing with this outfit. They are total scam outfits. I was shocked when I read alll the complaints.
Please protect the consumer with Valentines Day coming up. They will break many hearts and have no regrets or second thoughts. They are scammers.
It should be broadcast over the news stations to warn people. Where else can we all turn to to get these crooks off the internet.
I hope you will be suppolrtive in my request to let the warning be out and perhaps get it into local newspapers.
Very disillusioned about ever sending flowers via internet again.
