Bought deal package for $69.00. Experienced delays in bidding when clock was down to 1 second. Appears that you have won but then after 4 or 5 second delay the clock resets. Quickly figured out how much money they were making. Example: if a winning bid for a TV is $300.00 that means that 30,000 bids were placed. Assuming that everyone paid $0.40 per bid (low ball estimate) means they made $12,000 plus the $300 winning bid. Pretty hefty profit for a $1,200 TV. They could just go out to Best Buy and purchase it and ship it to you and they would still make a ton of money. I figured that I would just play and have fun realizing that I probably would not win anything. Then......low and behold......No electronics to bid on. That is the only thing that I was interested in. The only have head band and woman's jewelry and accessories which I don't need or want. No more spin wheel for the past couple of weeks. I sent an email requesting an explanation and a refund of my money. SURPRISE.......NO RESPONSE. CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT SHOULD BE FILED AGAINST THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!

  • Absolutely! They did start off having items in all of their categories. My guess is that they either started out to intentionally deceive and steal from members or they mishandled the business so poorly that they just blew through their HUGE profits without considering making good on the people that did win. I too found it strange that my bids were instantly credited until that last second then it would take 8-15 seconds for the "Going" to disappear yet there would only be one person that bid after me. Hmmm, just how did that work. Personally, I feel they had "bots" doing some "shill" bidding which is quite illegal. They also double charged my bank account for a 99.00 bid package. Yes, I too feel a class action suit is in order. They are obviously trying to empty the storage unit that all the cheap little items are located at and then they intend to close it down and possibly file bankruptcy. So terrible. On the bright side, try Zbiddy or Qui-bids. Qui-bids is a little harder to nicer items but it is also less expensive. Zbiddy - you might "luck out" like I did and win a 1000.00 Go-Cart (of course they MSRP'd it as 1900). I won it on the second bid I placed while the price was only 108.00. Shipping was 78.00 *freight...and we just sold it for 825.00 in our front yard. Do realize, even I know that was a complete FLUKE of luck. But it was a fun one! Good luck on getting a resolution from dealfun. I personally don't expect anything to come of this - there really just aren't watchdogs for the internet crimes as their should be.
