A man , Ben Naeter, claiming to be a representative of NMHC contacted us in regards to our mortgage problems & claimed he had a solution. He told us if we worked with him, he would be able to get GMAC to lower our payments. We sent him the money($850.00).He assured us he was working on this. After the Holidays he told us we needed to send more money, because the $850.00 was only half of the total amount due. We told him we needed to see something that would assure us he was doing what he claimed to be doing. He finally sent some paperworkto be filled out & sent to the comptroller of the currency. We filled out the papers & sent them to the address provided. We have heard nothing. Now this guy does'nt answer calls or return them.We are in forecloser & neede a resolution by March 6.
