In December I was contacted by All City Management Group and offered a proposal for the sale of our timeshare. After we decided to move forward with signing the proposal I was contacted by Alan an "attorney" from All City Management Group to explain how the process will proceed and that they will have an escrow company involved to protect us from any fraud. I was then contacted by Mike Riley at Realty Executives Escrow letting me know the buyer had opened up an escrow account and everything was in place. He said our closing date would be mid February but that he would like to close by the end of January because he had a big project coming up. He sent me a login name and password to get into the escrow account to see all the money that had been deposited. A few days later I was contacted by Alan at All City Management Group and he told me the closing was moved up to 1/27/12 and that there were some taxes that the Mexican government had imposed and that I would be responsible to pay these for the sale to proceed but that I would also be reimbursed for these fees. The total taxes were to be $4,080.00. When I said I didn't have that much money to send he offered for All City Management Group to pay 40% to help us out as long as we reimbursed them this amount after the sale closed. I was sent new paperwork from Realty Executives Escrow showing the new amount to be reimbursed to me. Mike Riley at Realty Executives Escrow also sent me paperwork that included a Customer Satisfaction Guarantee, wire instructions and a transfer of ownership agreement to fill out. I again was told our closing would be 1/27/12. The closing came and went. I tried calling on the 27th and was told the wires go out between 3 & 5 pm. I was also told Mike Riley was in a meeting with the bank and not reachable. I called Alan at All City Management Company to find out what was going on and he said he would call Mike and call me back. No return call ever came. On 1/30/12 I tried to call, email and fax with no luck of getting anyone to respond back. Since then I have contacted my local FBI office and was told to send in a detailed letter of what happened along with all correspondence pertaining to this scam. They also told me to contact the Attorney General offices in Wisconsin and Missouri. The FBI will enter the information into their system and will link it up with any other complaints with the same names. We need everyone who got scammed to take the time to contact these agencies and put in formal complaints. We need to try to recover our loses and put these people away.
