Went through a website which I thought was the official Beats by Dr. Dre website, called the number and ordered.
We received the item and in less than 3 months these do not work. I called the Beats company, they needed a serial number and said it was with the headband of the headset....it was no where to be found and this is where the real beats headsets have them.
This was a birthday present for my daughter's 17th birthday.

- same thing happened to me... monsterbeat-outlets.com. Website closed shortly after they took my money. I recommend purchasing high dollar equipment in person or online from an authorized dealer. I learned the hard way, there are too many china scam artist with cheap knocks off to risk it anymore.
