Mr. Henry Stanley approached me to do the paving on a rental property I own. We met and discussed the square footage of the lot and the cost to pave it. He proposed a $7500.00 cost. He asked for $3500.00 deposit to start the job. The requested amount was paid at that time. He started preliminary work that day. He returned several days later to complete the job, the forecast was for rain and I did not want to have the paving done in the rain. He did not respond to calls and did not return to complete the job. He finally responded and said he was coming to pave,but now the weather was too cold as it was now winter.
I have no confidence in his ability to do a quality job. I have ask him to return the balance of unused money, but he has not responded.
