I received an email from this company offering me a $ 5,000.00 personal loan. I was told to complete the attached application and return it to the company. I had two options available to secure the loan; (a) provide a clear title to my vehicle, or (b) pay the first 4 installments of the loan as a collateral down payment to receive the loan. I wired the company the money requested ($ 968.00) to secure the loan. After verifying that the transfer was complete, the loan officer (Mr. Cameron Davis) assured me that my loan would be deposited by noon the following day (7/21). On 7/21 at approx 1000, 2 hours prior to my deposit, I received a call from a Mr. Higgins stating that they re-evaluated my credit that morning and would require an additional $ 900.00 to secure the loan. I told him that I did not have the money to do this because I am a disabled veteran on a fixed income. He told me that I cannot get my $ 968.00 back until 8/18! I need this money returned immediately as it is all I have to survive until my next monthly payday. Or, Northgate should honor their contract and deposit the $ 5,000.00 loan immediately!
