I received 2 $918.25 checks in the mail. It said this was an approval for a financial grant. I knew that I did receive a notice in January 2012 by mail that I qualified for. This was a Govenment grant. But the 2 checks I received looked real and I deposited them in my bank account. She also said that rich company's are looking for people to help out with and this is a big tax diduction for them. Then it said I was to get a greendot money pal card and put $500.00 on each for brokers fees. Then I was to email to this www.trishawebster.co.cc. When I did this lead me to find out she was a scam and has taken other people for their money. I than called the bank in Colorado about these checks and they told me there were fraud. I than and am still trying to get the money back from the greendot moneypal company because thank God I never faxed her the numbers off the back of these cards and the store you get them from does not refund your money Some of the stores are WalMart, Rite aid etc.. I am disabled and on limited income. Now I am out of 1,000.00 and this woman is posted under scams on the website but the government or FBI should go after her because the checks are ever so real no one would ever know the difference. My bank told me their is alot of this going on. This woman trisha webster got my email address also and I don't know how. Why isn't anyone going after her or them. However, now I know that if they want you to pay for anything it is fraud even if you get a phone call about anything you did not send for do not accept or give your banking information out at all.
