I'm a small Interior Design business who reached out to companies to advertise my services, I've been very slow and was looking for creative ways to stay in business. One of these companies was ServiceMagicPros. They promised me that they would be able to provide leads to projects. They work by emailing project leads and charge you for each lead. I was clear with them that I felt uncomfortable about this since I could not be guaranteed this would work. They said that at any time I could go into my account and turn off and back on as I was ready. The first 4 leads I received I called and emailed immediately and the customer was either not looking for my services or looking for other services I do not provide (such as ordering window blinds). I went into my account turned off the leads, rejected leads and yet I still kept on receiving leads. I called today to cancel my membership and dispute the charges and they completely shrugged me off saying "I'm responsible for the leads charged and they can understand my frustration but there was nothing they could do". They tried to get me to stay with them by offering one free month, etc. They said they understood how I could feel I was being misled, but there was nothing they could do. I am so frustrated, they company is a total rip off. PLEASE HELP!! I have a feeling this is not the end. They are charging me $205.00, but I think there are going to be additional charges coming. ServiceMagic is a total rip off operations. I need HELP. Please let me know what I must do!!!
