I signed up for free 7 day trial to receive credit score services. I cancelled the very first day. I was still charged 14.95. Upon questioning them, they said I had signed up for additional membership. I didn't do that, at least not intentionally. I was probably tricked by some button that I shouldn't have pushed. At any rate, I feel like they are intentionally misleading customers.

  • They certainly do intentionally mislead their customers. I got charged $14.95 when I know I cancelled my account the day I got the free trial. I called and the man told me that it was completely non-refundable and I had to have agreed to an additional month or they would not have charged me. He basically said that I probably agreed to it not meaning to, but that's probably what they want. He insisted that there was no way to get my money back. I told him to cancel and close my account immediately. I called back, talked to someone else who forwarded me to a supervisor. I had to get uncharacteristically mean to the supervisor, who also told me that the $14.95 was completely non-refundable. I kept telling him that I would have never agreed to these charges and that the representatives were deceiving their customers. Finally, he agreed to credit the $14.95 back to my account. I haven't been that mad in a long time. It is clear that they are trying to trick their customers and charge them for things they not only want, but didn't even knowingly agree to. It's also disgusting how some or them insist that there is absolutely no way to get your money back and try to hang up when you don't give up and let it go. If they tell you the $14.95 is non-refundable, keep calling until someone will give your money back!
