On 2-22-12 I purchased a delivery/installation service from this company to deliver a TV I purchased from Sam's Club in Elmsford, NY. I set up the delivery over the phone at the store at that time I gave my debit card number to pay the $89.00 fee for the service. After leaving the store I received a call from N.E.W. (voice mail) stating my card did not go through. I returned the call and gave my card number again and was confirmed verbally that the card did go through and my scheduled delivery was for 2-24-12 between 2-4pm. I checked my online banking and found that the charge of $89.00 paid to N.E.W. on 2-23-12. On 2-24-12 @ 2:43 I called to confirm delivery and was told my delivery was cancelled because my card did not go through to pay the delivery charge. I checked with my bank and found that the payment did go through and spent over an hour on the phone with supervisors of N.E.W. Steven and Rick who continued to claim they did not have payment for the delivery and refused to deliver my merchandise. They were unprofessional and insensitive to the fact that I had taken a personal day from work to accommodate this scheduled delivery. They tried to get me to give my card number again to pay for the service I had already paid for; at the same time informing me that it will take 2-4 business days before they could resolve the issue and make my delivery. I emailed to them verification of the transaction statement showing payment and to no avail were they accommodating. I then filed a claim for fraud with my bank regarding the charge against my account. I find this to be suspicious and wish to file this complaint against this company.
