My Wife and I went to Ocean Canyon Travel in Arlington for an hour and a half Travel membership presentation. We ended up being there for over for over 3 hours. We had five different sales people giving us the Travel sales pitch. Each had a different version of the program and how happy that they were with their membership. We kept telling them over and over again that we were not interested in Cruises, Airfares, and Vacations to exotic lands. Over six thousand dollars for a life time membership. That was out of the question. We are RV campers. We like only RV parks and Resorts. We want unlimited stays at RV parks. As time went on the price of the membership kept getting lower and lower. We kept saying no. Finally they offered a one year trial membership. We told them again that were RV campers. We were assured that with the one year trial membership, we would have unlimited stays at their RV Resorts and reduced rates at hundreds of other resorts national wide. We accepted their offer. When we got home we reviewed all of our paperwork. Wow! Very disappointing. Our camping was for 7 days of free camping only. Everyone there was verbally deceitful. We are not Happy Campers. The next day, tried to Call Ocean Canyon Travel in Arlington. No Phone number listed. Called many times to Ocean Canyon Travel main office. They do not call you back. Contacted the Federal Trade Commission with my complaint. They gave me several things to do. Sent a letter to Ocean Canyon requesting a refund. Sent Certified express mail. They received my letter on the 16th of Feb.2012. I have not heard back from them. That was 18 days ago.
