During a marketing sales pitch via the telephone, identifying themselves as Right Size Smoothie, I called the telephone number #800 600 6779, which was the number provided on radio advertisement for information, only! You could not talk to a real person, only an automated system. During the call however, the voice of Steve Bostick, the owner, offered me a free rebate on my shipping of $18.80 plus taxes, a free 30-day trail and a shaker to mix smoothies in. I made the call on February 21, 2012. My bank paid this company on February 28, 2012 for two cannisters, weighing 27.8 oz each of the product. The company's promise was as follows:
1) Your choice of flavors
2) Rebate on shipping & taxes
(Refund guaranteed)
3) 30-day free trial and Blender bottle
4) Keep all but second cannister
(Send second cannister back unopened if
you opt to refuse to purchase program within
30-day period)
i received the order on March 2, 2012. When I opened it, there were two 27.8 cannisters, the blender, and the paperwork explaining this company's policy. None of it was in agreement with the promise I rec'd on telephone, except the 30-day free trial agreement and free blender bottle. In fact, the information about the trial specifically said that the rebate was only good through the month of November, 2011! I was advised to go to this website, www.ClaimYourRebate.com. The Code to enter was #COR-5817. All I got for my trouble was an information page and a promise of a form that never materialized. I'm afraid I may be scammed, because I was unable to speak with a live person, in order to clarify my wishes. I don't want any more charges to go on my credit card, from this company! I am a diabetic and have an issue with cholesterol. I would have not ordered the product if I had been able to speak with a live person and able to explain all of this.
