I was contacted by a man from the collections department for Public Yellow Pages for an internet listing from Aug. 26, 2011.Stating at the time I was 130+days past due he played the conversation and I did remember it, but I asked the man where did I say that I authorized this sale in that conversation, and he was in disbelief. I told him that I had not received a bill from his company. He said they had sent three bills out. I told him I wasn't paying and hung up on him. I finally received a bill Feb. 6, for $599.99 + $40.00 administration charges. Talked to a man on March 1, he said he was going to send another bill out and that we were in danger of going to small claims court.
