I received a notice that I'd won a pending prize of over $2 million dollars. It is was enclosed a paid envelope & the letter stated I was required to reply by 3/7/12 & that I need enclose a money order, check, or cash for a transfer fee in order to receive my cash prize. I remembered a few months ago that I'd registered for a sweepstakes so thinking nothing of it, I sent a money order & overnighted it, which was an extra cost because I had to have it to them by the 7th. I didn't have time to look up anything as I received it as I was leaving on a trip, but now I'm reading that I am not the only one who has gotten scammed. This is ridiculous and they should be caught & prosecuted for perjury & mail fraud. How can they be allowed to continue taking people's hard earned money & giving false hope? We cannot call the post office to trace the post office box, but they can send false notifications; talk about a violation.
