I have been caring for my 84 year old mother who has lung cancer. She lives in her own apartment at The Willows, 417 West Diamond Avenue, Apt T-1, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.

The Rental office gave me a parking pass, but I've had so many other things on my mind, that I failed to look at the expiration date. My truck was towed at midnight on 3/4/12. When I called the towing company to find out their location and the cost, I was informed that they would not take a credit card because their device was broken and wouldn't be repaired until that Monday. I was at their mercy and had to come up with cash only. I also spoke with another resident there who had a guest stay over night and he too was towed Thursday before me. He was also told that he had to pay $160 in cash. I don't believe that their device was broken, that they just want cash. It's very unfair to a person to have to come up with cash. I wanted to pay by credit card, but since I couldn't, I had to borrow money in order to get my vehicle back.

I believe that the company should be checked out to find out why they insist on cash! Also, when I inquired why it cost $160, I was told Montgomery County sets the price. I was charged $100 for towing charge, $40 for a 10 miles and $20 for storage. I think that is rediculous!
