My mechanic Joe Eibl took my 1988 BMW to get it in tip top shape, this was after I was offered 10,000.00 dollars for it. I also put in a reverse gear to the tune of $2000.00. He kept it stored and every time I asked for the car back he had some story. I moved to Florida and no one asked anything about the car except when I returned for the summer. This was in the year 2000. About 5 years ago I said I just want the car back and he said the man who owned the storage facility has it. I have been dealing with Mr. Conn who has the car and I have the title. I have gone to the police department in Big Bend, talked to the chief and he said this is a civil matter. I called the Waukesha District attorney and she said tell the chief Mr. Conn moved the car without owners permission and the chief did nothing. I got my attorney Yellen involved and he said Mr. Conn wants $500.00 I never stored my car with him and feel I don't owe him. Today I just called Mr. Conn (no joke thats his name) and he wants $700.00 and said I have been threatening him which is not true. What do I do to get my car back? I am a 74 year old lady and never been in any situation concerning the law. I just feel I have been dealt with wrongly and just want my car back after all these years I will not give up and don't think I owe any one money, I was the one wronged. I can only deal with this when I come to town in the summer and am ready to go back to Florida at the end of August. This means another year with no car.
