I took MLP Media to court in the UK. I paid them £880 for advertising on a pamphlet which was supposed to be handed out with every prescription at a local pharmacist. I quickly realized that this was not happening and asked for my money back.
When it became obvious that this was not going to happen, I started court proceedings. It took almost 2 years to come to Court as the company used various delaying tactics.
MLP Media did not turn up to the Court and I won the case.
I employed a debt collection company to collect the money owed. In September 2011, the money paid on a monthly basis stopped. The bailiffs have now told me that MLP Media is no longer at the address given in Chorley. The telephone line has been disconnected, yet the company has not been dissolved as far as Companies House is concerned, as I have checked.
It would appear that MLP is operating elsewhere now. If anyone knows where this might be, please let me know! With the Court Order I possess, I can ask for the credit rating of the company to be affected.
