I received a check in the amount of 2280.00 for a sceret shopper job. I was told to wire the balance of the check after taking a fee of 350.00 and wiring fees to someone in New Hampshire. I had not wired the cash because the bank had placed a hold on the check and I receved a call from my bank this morning that the check was counterfeit. A bank representative had spoken to someone at the company that the check was supposed to be from and was told that the check was counterfeit. Luckily for me, the bank placed a negative on my account for what was used.
