Heidi McCartney(owner of Exotic ShihTzu) sold my daughter and I three puppies at $900 each. They were all sick. My daughter took her 2 home first. The "Heidi (Exotic Shihtzu) recommended" vet said they both had Coccidia and ear mites and the female had a hernea. She said these things are common, treated for the Coccidia and mites and said the hernia can be fixed when the puppies are fixed. My daughter didn't return them because my grandchildren had fallen in love with them on visiting days, before they were bought home.
My pup was younger and 4 days before I was to pick her up I asked Heidi's "dog nanny" for a stool specimen. It tested positive for Coccidia at their recommended Vet. I had told Heidi that I did not want her because I have a 13 yr. old ShihTzu at home. I told her this several times before and she guaranteed that her dogs are pest free when they are sent home. Her Web site and literature promises "Pest free healthy pups". I asked for my money back 6/1/11. She agreed to the refund.
She doesn't return calls or e-mails and Heidi still has my money. There is a lot more to the story. Please don't believe her or the "Anonymous" praises on the some web sites. She probably posts them herself and her puppies might as well come from "puppy mills". I have complete documentation of everything and I'd really like to get my money back...
