I was interested in mystery shopping..I have worked retail and have been "shopped" so I know this can be a legitimate source of income. On 2/22/2012 I received an envelope postmarked Canada..letter said Re: acceptance letter (secret shopper)...a check for $1995.50..instructions to call account mgr Melissa Stewart or Robert Newman at 1 647 919 1407 to activate check before depositing in my account. Then I was to shop a western union and send $1460 to Spain..Songkanh Sandler at the Int'l processing center...when I completed that call manager immediately...I did that exactly and it was difficult to even find someone in my area to do that it took me two days to find a place..I did exactly as instructed..when I called Robert put me on hold for about 10 minutes as I could hear him trying to call someone else...I finished my conversation and went to Macy my 2nd shop ..called when I was finished...didn't like the response from Melissa and questioned her as my gut told me something wasn't right..I asked if the check was good and she said I will call you back in an hour..three hours later I called her again..in the meanwhile I got on line and realized that this could be a scam and called western union and was told that the money was picked up an hour after I sent it..in the meanwhile..the check did not clear the bank ...the $1600 that I took out of my account was gone..I am still in the process with TCF and they are not helping me ...I need my moneyl..I lossed my job..I also had other payments being paid out of my account..that have not been honored because I was scammed and these companies want money from me and I have no way to take care of this..please, please someone help me.
