Received a letter stating winnings of 200,000 with a check for 4950.20 to be deposited in my account for insurance purposes. Desperately wanting something good to happen to my family, I deposited check and being leery proceeded to research further. Found out online that Publishers Lottery claims is extremely fraudulent. Called my bank and informed them of the scam. My bank was extremely helpful and is not applying any service charges to my account to fix this issue because of my honesty. Tried to call back David Cruz and John Gonzalez (The two names on the letter) and when I questioned them and subsequently informed them that I knew they were fraudulent and that I had reported them to the FBI, they immediately hung up on me and did not answer any further attempts to call them back. Please report immediately if you receive any such correspondence from this fraudulent company. By all means, contact your bank and square this situation away if you have deposited any checks from this company.
