I ordered shoes from them, with the understanding that they would be received within 5-7 days. I never received a confirmation of my order. I was directed from their site to PayPal, which I thought was a safe way to pay. I tried to contact the company through email. The site has no phone number. Only when I looked at the PayPal transactions, did I realize that the "company" was in China. The PayPal transactions were to zhi gang deng, [email protected]. (When I first looked at the PayPal transaction the email address was debbie something at hotmail.com). Today in the mail I got two paper clips from CHINA! Then I checked here and found that others have had a similar experience. But WHY did they send ANYTHING and why with delivery confirmation? This worries me. As if someone is gathering information. This is definitely suspicious. I'm calling my bank.

  • to loisparadise, the number for Paypal is 1-888-221-1161, again I called Paypal to report my disappointment with the way my claim was handled and closed with no reimbursement. The representative again apologized and was surprised that I was declined a refund. She did submit another claim for me. I would really like to think that Paypal did stand by their claim to protect their customers against slime like these people who are stealing are money thru these scams. I just can't believe this scam has gone on as long as it has. Good luck with your claim!

  • Thank you! I will call PayPal, and I will keep you posted. Today, for $32, I mailed back to CHINA the worthless paperclips I received, as PayPal instructed me. This was the cheapest way WITH tracking. What do you want to bet that my package is "undeliverable"? I am *very* disappointed in PayPal. I thought it was safe and that buyers were protected, but I used my bank account. It seems to me now that only if you use credit cards via PayPal, is it safe, because credit cards DO back up their protection claims. There's so much Internet scam. I think that some law should be passed that makes it mandatory that every website declare its country of origin and that it be monitored or certified for international sales. Had I known this *company* (read: criminals) were in China and were not a certified (or whatever they call it) PayPal account, I never would have ordered. Unregulated Internet sites need to be shut down, especially because an International law suit (e.g., class action) is cost prohibitive. My husband lost $600 through an Internet sale that he did not realize originated in Afghanistan. As far as commerce goes, the Internet is OUT OF CONTROL. I intend to pursue this to the bitter end, and I thank you for the information you provided. May the Force be with us!
