I am on social security disability and receive my check on the third of the month. I was called by fast loan america and told to put $300.00 on a green dot money card and that I should call them and they would just view the card and not take any money out. Well I called them many times and a Mr. Adam White said he would call me back. I called numerous times and could not get in touch with him. Finally at 6PM EST I talked to him and he said that he called me and my phone was busy which is not true. He said that my Green Dot moneypak was invalid. I called Green Dot and they said someone had used my card and put it on a Walmart prepaid card and that I should file a police report and have the police call their legal department and that I was scammed by the loan company. I was called by two different numbers both saying they were fast loan america. When I told Mr. Clement Smith at the second number that I had lost $300' he asked me how much money I had and I told him $50 HE SAID TO BUY A $50 MONEPAK CARD AND THAT HE WOULD GIVE me a $800 loan which of course I have not done. The first number was (Personal Info Removed) and the second (Personal Info Removed) both Florida asrea codes. I am on a very limited income and had planned to use the $3000 to pay off some debts.
