I ordered two pair of Dansko shoes. When they didn't arrive and we got zero response to our emails we filed a claim with Paypal. We did receive an envelope from China that contained a flexible pencil worth about 2 cents. Paypal just sent us a tracking number from the seller that corresponded with this pencil. What a scam! Hoping to recover some of the funds from Paypal.

FOLLOW-UP...I just received a full refund from PayPal! They had decided in my favor but, wanted me to send the worthless pencil back to China with a tracking number. When I checked with the post office, UPS and FedEX it would have cost me $38-$100 to send that pencil back. I called PayPal and explained all of this and they dropped the requirement to return the pencil.
I saw a new complaint about "shoesthestation.com" and it looks like the same crooks running the same scam. When will PayPal wise up? -

i ordered my shoes a while ago and lost the cheap garbage clips. did paypal still require you to provide tracking info?? cuz i lost mine

- Paypal didn't require the return of the worthless item so no tracking info was needed.
