On Sunset Blvd in Hollywood a white pick up pulled up next to me. One white guy with a shaved head and another hispanic guy. The white guy said he had some extra speakers that were ordered in error. He asked if I wanted to take a look. Like a moron, I said sure why not. (I don't even need them so extra dumb on my part). After showing the speakers and a catalog. He asked for $500. I went to check google on my phone but because of Verizon's terrible service(yes I will pass some of the blame on them to help me cope with my moronic behavior) I could not get access to see all the hundreds of scam alerts. I told the guy I'd give him $100 to try it out. I took the speakers home and after reading the scam reports, I just through the box in the dumpster. I took a gamble and lost. Moral of the story, use your brain, I didn't :(.
