Contacted me via zoosk. Showed incredible interest. Extremely good with words and knowing just what to say. Says he is American in turkey on business. His dad was American, mom from turkey. So when he is there his mom falls Ill with breast cancer and needs emergent surgery and the doctor (Ige Jamiu) needs $700 upfront before performing the surgery. When I revealed my suspicions he put the blame on me calling me insecure with low self esteem. When I didn't give the money he still persued me, making me think my doubts were unfounded. I finally sent $200 (to dr Ige Jamiu) and he told me that would be enough for him to do the surgery and pay the rest later. He then tells me that he cannot leave until he pays another $150 for food and medicine (this is after she has been in the hospital for a few weeks)

- I was almost scammed from this same individual. I met him on Zoosk. He told me exact same thing. He said he has a daughter named Mary and that his father died when he was young and his wife died in an automobile accident. He was very charming and told me he was a software engineer. I almost sent him some money but I was so skeptic that I decided to search his name and found two of the exact same stories as mine. I'm so sorry for the one's he took money from but I am so greatful he didn't get to me because he almost did. Thank you for posting this scam because you saved me from being a victim and hopefully it will save others as well. This jerk deserves to be locked up. I hope that he gets caught for this.
