The majority of profiles appear to be fake. One man (user name Brucetom) tried to scam me out of 5,000 pounds. He was supposedly travelling from Scotland to Australia to visit me when he was stopped at Kuala Lumpur customs for having too much money in travellers cheques. I was to pay the balance of the fine (5,000) to have him released. When I refused to wire the money to him I received abusive sms messages from him. I reported him to Australia's government scam alert and the millionairedates site. He is still listed on the site along with other profiles I reported to them. Other fake profiles include GreenGrassNHorses, MakinBank11, Outdoorsman99, remark4652, lovinlifetaurus62, confidentceo65, Walsh52, worldclasschance01. There's heaps more but they are the ones that contacted me. I have also reported Brucetom to other dating sites as I found him listed on a number of different ones. The fake profiles that contacted me all claim to be millionaires and all claimed to live in the same town I did. I worked in the high end business sector of my town and not one of these men were known by anyone.

  • A friend of mine living in another Australian state signed into the Millionairedates.com. site and found the exact same men as I've listed above claiming to be from her town....same pictures and into, just the location changed to the other Australian state. As they are still listed on the site even after my complaint directly to the site I can only assume that the profiles must be part of the site itself.

  • I got my money back after pointing out that I suspected the fake profiles were not legitimate due to none of the supposed men were known in my area and should have been given they were so so so wealthy and successful. I got a polite 'thank you for your interest in our site', got a refund and my profile was completely removed. It pays to keep at them until you get some satisfaction. The fake profiles are still on the site however.
