My husband received a check for $4,452 in an envelope marked canadapost. He called the number and was told to deposit the check. He was then told to withdraw $3900 cash and was given specific instructions to visit a Wal-Mart, Kroger and Publix. The Kroger and Publix he was to wire a specific amount of money internationally and return to the store the next day to ask for a refund. He spoke to a representative 6 different times to verify information. However, when he called back to attempt the refund, there was no response.
